Beauty and the Beast dan Wonder Woman Dominasi Teen Choice Awards 2017
LOS ANGELES – Pengumuman daftar nominasi babak kedua dari pagelaran Teen Choice Awards 2017 memunculkan film Beauty and the Beast dan Wonder Woman sebagai unggulannya. Beauty and the Beast mengantar enam nominasi dengan dibuntuti oleh Wonder Woman serta Spider-Man: Homecoming yang mengirim lima nominasi.
Dan Stevens dan Emma Watson masuk menjadi nominasi dalam kategori Choice LipLock dan Choice MovieShip. Keduanya akan bersaing dengan pasangan dari Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot dan Chris Pine, serta pasangan dari Fast & Furious, Vin Diesel dan Michelle Rodriguez.
Sementara itu Spider-Man: Homecoming menjadi nama teratas dalam perburuan dalam kategori Choice Summer Movie melawan Cars 3, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Transformers: The Last Knight, dan War of the Planet of the Apes serta Wonder Woman.
Film-film lain yang menghiasi daftar nominasi babak kedua ini antara lain adalah dari XXX: Return of Xander Cage, Power Rangers, Dunkirk, Amityville: The Awakening, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, Moana, dan Hidden Figures. Pagelaran Teen Choice Awards 2017 akan dilangsungkan pada tanggal 13 Agustus mendatang. Voting untuk pemenang telah berlangsung dari tanggal 19 Juni sampai 22 Juni.
